Dr. Wolff obtained her B.A. in Biology for the College of Notre Dame of Maryland and her Ph.D. in Human Genetics from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Following a postDoctoral fellowship at Stanford University, she completed her clinical fellowships in both Clinical Cytogenetics and Molecular Genetics at Case Western University. Dr. Wolff has certifications in Clinical Cytogenetics and Molecular Genetics from the American Board of Medical Genetics. She came to MUSC in 1997 and has overseen the expansion of the Genetics laboratory and the inclusion of state-of-the-art technologies. Dr. Wolff has been active in the Genetics community and has held positions on the Cytogenetics Resource committee of the College of American Pathologists (CAP), the Board of Directors of the American College of Medical Genetics, and the Board of Directors of the Cancer Cytogenomics Microarray Consortium.
