Dawn Marie Wahezi MD

Dr. Wahezi attended medical school at the University of Buffalo, School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. She completed her residency training in pediatrics at The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, where she stayed on as the inaugural fellow in pediatric rheumatology. She subsequently joined the faculty in the Department of Pediatrics at Montefiore and completed a master’s degree in clinical research. She has a special interest in juvenile dermatomyositis and pediatric lupus and is currently engaged in several research projects within these domains.
