Davide Imberti

David Imberti previously served as Director of the Unit of Internal Medicine II of the University of Ferrara. Dr. Imberti is a member of several national and international scientific societies (including the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis), member of the National Executive Committee of the Italian Society of Atherosclerosis, Thrombosis Vascular Biology (ATBV) and past-member of the National Executive Committee of the Italian Society for the Study of Haemostasis and Thrombosis (SISET). Dr. Imberti is auditor of several scientific journals, including the Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis, Archives of Internal Medicine, Haematologica, Journal on Emergency Medicine, Thrombosis and Haemostasis, Chest, Transfusion, Thrombosis Research; Clin Appl Thromb Haemost.

Dr. Imberti is the group coordinator of the lines guide of the Italian Society for the Study of Haemostasis and Thrombosis (SISET) relating to the treatment of venous thromboembolism (VTE) in patients with malignant neoplasm, and the use of vena cava filters. Dr. Imberti is a member of the Regional Committee on Noas, the prevention of VTE in surgery and orthopedics and management of thrombophilia. Dr. Imberti is author / co-author of more 'than 150 manuscripts published in scientific peer reviewed journals. His current clinical research activities cover mainly of direct oral anticoagulants (NOAS) and the management of hemorrhagic diathesis acquired. Dr. Imberti participates and has participated as principal investigator or coordinator in numerous (over 70) national and international multicenter studies related to venous and arterial thrombosis and hemostasis disorders.
