David Walker FRCP, FRCA, FFICM

Dr. David trained in medicine, anaesthesia and Critical Care in Wessex, Oxford, London and Toronto. After completing a period of research at UCL he was appointed Consultant and now divides his time between anaesthesia and intensive care. He is director of the UCL Masters Programme in Perioperative Medicine and Clinical Lead for the Post-Anaesthetic Care Unit. David most recently has co-developed a Perioperative Physician model of care and is about to undertake a clinical trial to assess its impact. David plays an active part in medical education and is an associate editor of the British Journal of Hospital Medicine.
