Dr. Wong has special interests in colon cancer screening and other disorders of the esophagus, stomach and colon. He specializes in treatment of reflux disease or GERD (gastro-esophageal reflux disease).
Dr. Wong was one of the first physicians in California to perform the Plicator gastroplication, a FDA approved endoscopic treatment for GERD. He is an author of the important recent large multi-center international study demonstrating the effectiveness of the Plicator gastroplication procedure.
