David Shasha MD

Dr. David Shasha has extensive experience in infectious diseases, both in complicated and immunosuppressed patients in the hospital, and in infections in patients in the community (those who are not hospitalized). In addition to his ongoing clinical work (patient treatment), Dr. Shasha is engaged in research. His work in the field of infectious diseases, HIV, and sexually transmitted diseases has been published in prominent scientific journals and presented at many international medical conferences He takes an active part in teaching medical students and training resident doctors and is a social activist for the eradication of stigma and for the rights of people living with HIV as a member of the executive committee ".of the "Committee to Fight AIDS.

Dr. David Shasha is a specialist in infectious diseases and internal medicine. He serves as a senior physician in the infectious diseases unit at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov ), is responsible for the sexually transmitted infections (STLs) clinic at the hospital, and serves as a senior physician in the hospital's HIV clinic. In addition, Dr. Shasha manages the infectious diseases department at the Meuhedet and Leumit Health funds.

Dr. Shasha is a Hebrew University and Hadassah Medica School graduate in Jerusalem. He subsequently served as a military physician in the IDF Academic Reserve.
