Dr. Scott is a consultant paediatrician at the Conquest Hospital. He is a general paediatrician with an interest in paediatric epilepsy and neurological and developmental problems, including autism.
His other interests include the management of children with respiratory problems, urinary tract infections, recurrent abdominal pain and urinary incontinence.
He qualified in 1974 having trained at Cambridge University and Guy's Hospital Medical Schools. He subsequently trained in paediatrics at Guy's Hospital, Kings College Hospital, and the Royal Brompton Hospital. He was appointed a consultant in 1983.
Dr. Scott was a British Paediatric Association (now the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health) council member and chaired the paediaticians in medical management group. He is a senior examiner for the College.
