David S. Ettinger MD, FACP, FCCP

David S. Ettinger, M.D., is Alex Grass Professor of Oncology and Professor of Medicine, Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Radiation Oncology and Molecular Radiation Sciences at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Dr Ettinger received his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, Kentucky. His postgraduate training included an internship at Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany, New York. He also completed fellowships at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota and The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore. Dr Ettinger is board certified in internal medicine and holds sub-speciality certification in medical oncology.

Dr Ettinger has served as a consultant for dozens of organizations. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, American Association for Cancer Research, Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer, and the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer. Dr Ettinger is chair of the NCCN Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Panel, Antiemesis Panel, and Occult Primary Cancers Panel. He is also the chair of the NCCN Guidelines Steering Committee.
