David Ryan Polgar JD

David is a pioneering tech ethicist who paved the way for the current debates around tech ethics, digital citizenship, and what it means to be human in the digital age. With a background as an attorney and educator, David has been at the forefront of issues around responsible tech and how we can build a better tech future since 2012. Outside of running All Tech Is Human, speaking, and writing, David currently serves as a founding member of TikTok’s Content Advisory Council. He is also a board member for the Technology and Adolescent Mental Wellness (TAM) program and is an advisor & contributor to TechWorker.com.

In addition, he the co-host of Funny as Tech, an NYC-based podcast and regular live show (pre-COVID) that tackles the thorniest issues in tech inside a comedy theater. He recently launched a tech ethics hub for college students and a digital citizenship class for adults and writes monthly pieces about Responsible Tech for Built-In.
