David is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Section of Allergy and Immunology, at Nationwide Children's Hospital. His responsibilities include treating children with allergic and immunologic conditions during 4 clinics per week. He serve as the Director of the Complex Asthma Clinic, which is a comprehensive combined Allergy/Pulmonary clinic for children with poorly controlled and/or severe asthma. In addition, he serve as Co-Chair of the planning committee for an Annual Pediatric Asthma Conference, held the first week in May each year with over 200 attendees and nationally renowned speakers.

He is also employed by Partners for Kids, which is the largest Pediatric Accountable Care Organization in the United States and partner with Nationwide Children's Hospital. His role with Partners for Kids is as Physician Champion for the Easy Breathing Program in central Ohio, which is a quality improvement program designed for primary care pediatricians to assist in their standardized assessment and management of asthma.
