David R. Lane, MD, FACEP is a graduate of Swarthmore College and Emory University School of Medicine. He trained in emergency medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

Dr. Lane has been practicing since 2005 in the Washington, D.C. area, at Medstar Washington Hospital Center and Medstar Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Lane was deeply involved in medical student and resident education for the first 10 years of his career, serving as the Clerkship Director of Emergency Medicine and also appointed to the Admissions Committee at Georgetown University School of Medicine. In 2015, he became the Vice Chair of Emergency Medicine at Medstar Southern Maryland Hospital Center in Clinton, MD.

In 2018, Dr. Lane returned to his home state of Florida and embraced a position as Medical Director and Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Osceola Regional Medical Center. He is enthusiastic to serve the community in Kissimmee and Orlando, and to lead the continued academic development of the Department of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Lane is board certified in emergency medicine, and is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at University of Central Florida College of Medicine as well as the Georgetown University School of Medicine.
