David obtained his PhD from the University of Sydney, Dept of Medicine (Endocrinology) and spent several years in both academic research and drug discovery in the biotech industry at OSI Pharmaceuticals/Prosidion Ltd. David is currently the Programme Manager for the UK Regenerative Medicine Platform (UKRMP).
The UKRMP is a £25M initiative, funded by the MRC, EPSRC BBSRC that aims to address technical and scientific challenges associated with translating promising scientific discoveries in this area towards clinical impact. As Programme Manager, he provides the key point of contact between the regenerative medicine community and funding agencies.
