David Martin MD, MPH

Professor Martin is a cardiac electrophysiologist and the Chair of Medicine at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. He is responsible for the clinical and financial performance of the more than 250 providers in this large department, and for oversight of the residency and subspecialty training programs. Within Tufts University School of Medicine he has been an active member of the curriculum committee and currently co-chairs a strategic planning working group. He is also the Associate International Director (Americas) for the Royal College of Physicians in London and in this role represents the College and engages in liaison with members and fellows resident in the Americas. He is a frequent speaker on cardiac electrophysiology topics and stroke prevention in relation to atrial fibrillation.
