David Shlaestaken his Ph.D in Microbiology and M.D. from Case Western Reserve. BA, Biology-Chemistry (Magna cum laude) from Lawrence University, and a member of the American Council on Science and Health Scientific Advisory Panel. Dr. Shlaes was formerly Vice President, Infectious Diseases, Wyeth Ayerst Research, Chief, of the Infectious Diseases Section at VA Medical Center and Professor of Medicine at Case Western University.
