David M. Sheridan

Dave was recently named Executive Director of the Sober Living Network, the largest recovery housing organization of its kind in the nation, supporting 500 independent recovery residences in Southern California. He has been involved as a volunteer and board member for several nonprofit recovery organizations. As a co-founder and member of NARR’s executive committee, Dave’s principal focus is on the establishment and growth of sustainable and effective systems of recovery housing. He advises state and regional groups on the formation and successful operation of recovery residence provider standards and support organizations. He is also active nationally in fair housing advocacy issues affecting recovery residences, particularly threats to the rights of disabled individuals to live in the housing of their choice. Dave regularly presents at industry and government conferences on recovery and housing rights topics.
