David M. Corda MD

Dr. Corda is the chief of the Multispecialty Anesthesia division and also works in the Liver & Transplant Anesthesia and Vascular Anesthesia divisions. He is currently Director of the Transition to Practice Rotation for senior residents.

Dr. Corda returned to the University of Florida in 2015 after practicing for 14 years in both private practice and academic medical settings. He was formerly a member of the Cardiothoracic Anesthesia division at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville and was Director of Cardiothoracic Anesthesia at Florida Hospital Waterman. Dr. Corda is board certified in advanced preoperative transesophageal echocardiography and is an oral board examiner for the ABA. His research interests include preoperative visual loss and the anesthesia consent process and patient safety.
