David Luis Simon Morales MD

David Morales, MD, as chief of cardiovascular surgery and director of the Heart Institute. Morales earned a bachelor’s degree at Duke University and his medical degree at Yale University Medical School. He trained in general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, then completed training in congenital heart surgery as the Edward A. Jones Fellow in Congenital Heart Surgery at Texas Children's Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine. He has been at Baylor and Texas Children’s since 2003. Morales is board certified in surgery, thoracic surgery and congenital heart surgery.
