David Jayne MD

David Jayne is a Professor of Clinical Autoimmunity at the University of Cambridge and Director of the Vasculitis and Lupus Service at Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

He has led numerous clinical trials evaluating standard therapies and newer immunotherapeutics in vasculitis, lupus, and immune-mediated renal disease. Prof Jayne also leads the international clinical research vasculitis network (EUVAS) coordinating the wider vasculitis research community in the definition of approaches to diagnosis and treatment of anti-neutrophil cytoplasm antibody (ANCA)–associated vasculitis (AAV).

His collaborative work has defined the ‘standard of care’ in AAV and informed international consensus management guidelines.
