David James Barron MD

David Barron has been a consultant at Birmingham Children’s Hospital since 1999. He trained at St Thomas’ Hospital, Royal Brompton and Great Ormond Street Hospitals. He is the lead for Congenital Cardiac Training in the UK and sits on the Specialist Advisory Committee (SAC), National Appointments Committee for Cardiothoracic Surgery and on the Steering Committee for the National Cardiac Audit. David is a trustee of the Society for Cardiothoracic Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland and is the Chair for Congenital Heart Surgery in the UK.
