David J. Olvera AS, NRP, FP-C, NRP, is the clinical education manager, department chair of the research committee and the IRB administrator for Air Methods Corporation in Aurora, Colorado. He began his airway research in 2007 with Dr. John Sakles at University Medical Center in Tucson Arizona and has continued to do research at a national level with Air Methods. He has developed a CQI data collection tool for all intubations for his company and has collected more than 8000 live intubations.
