Dr. Freedman is Vice President of Foot and Ankle Specialists of the Mid-Atlantic. He is a past President of the Maryland State Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners, past Chairman, 9th and 10th Annual CAC/PIAC meeting of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Currently he is a coding committee member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, and a Medicare CAC Podiatry Representative for Maryland.

Dr. Freedman is a member of both the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Maryland Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Freedman is active in the local community by supporting various organizations. Dr. Freedman is a resident of Olney, MD, he is married with three children, son-in-law, and a granddaughter.

Dr. Freedman received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, Philadelphia, PA, in 1986. His undergraduate education was a BS-Biology from Syracuse University. He completed postgraduate training in podiatric surgery, at Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton, New Jersey. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) in foot surgery; Fellow of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons; Certified Wound Specialist from the American Academy of Wound Management; Certified Professional Coder from the American Academy of Professional Coders; Certified Professional Medical Auditor from the American Academy of Professional Coders; Certified Surgical Foot and Ankle Coder from the American Academy of Professional Coders.
