David J. Anschel, MD, the Comprehensive Epilepsy Center of Long Island at St. Charles Hospital has used a multidisciplinary approach in treating epilepsy to improve the lives of people with epilepsy and its imitators. A prolific author, Dr. Anschel has published more than 70 scientific papers, abstracts and book chapters, as well as authoring two books widely used by medical students and residents in neurology training. He is board certified in neurology, clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy.
