David Hui MD, MSc

Dr. David Hui is assistant professor in the Department of Palliative Care and Rehabilitation Medicine at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He received his undergraduate degree with honors in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of British Columbia in Canada. Dr. Hui continued on at the University of British Columbia to obtain his MS in biochemistry and molecular biology, ultimately earning his MD from the University of British Columbia.

He completed his clinical residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Alberta followed by a clinical fellowship in Medical Oncology at the British Columbia Cancer Agency and a clinical research fellowship in Supportive/Palliative Oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Hui also received an additional graduate degree in Patient Based Biological Research from the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Hui is board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology in by both the Royal College of Physicians of Canada and by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
