David Zodda, MD is a board-certified attending physician practicing emergency medicine at the Inova Fairfax Hospital. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Zodda also serves as his institution's assistant residency director and assistant professor of emergency medicine at the Seton Hall University School of Medicine. He completed his emergency medicine training at the Detroit Medical Center and obtained a fellowship degree from the New York Academy of Medicine in knowledge translation. 

He has lectured extensively at SAEM and ACEP on topics including evidence-based medicine, advances in medical education, and healthcare advocacy. He has authored several papers for Emergency Medicine Practice, produced podcasts for EM: RAP, calculators for MDCalc, and is active on social media @ElevateMedicine. Dr. Zodda believes that when healthcare providers incorporate up-to-date clinical research and evidence into their practice, the result is improved healthcare delivery and excellence in patient care.
