David F. Martin MD

Martin is the Director of Sports Medicine for the Wake Forest University Demon Deacons and the team physician for the minor-league baseball team, the Winston-Salem Dash. He is the past president of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) and has been a director for the ABOS since 2006. Martin is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. His clinical and research interests include running injuries, knee ligament/cartilage/meniscal injuries, throwing injuries and joint replacement of the hip and knee.
