David E. Slattery MD, FACEP, FAAEM

David Slattery, MD, FACEP is a residency trained and Board Certified Emergency Physician who serves as a Deputy Chief and the EMS Medical Director for Las Vegas Fire & Rescue. In addition, Dr. Slattery is an Associate Professor and Director of Emergency Medicine Research for the University Of Nevada School Of Medicine's Department of Emergency Medicine. He works clinically in the emergency department at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada and he provides medical oversight for the Casino AED project. Nationally, he currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National Association of EMS Physicians and serves as a member of the National Oversight Committee for the Cardiac Arrest Registry to Enhance Survival (CARES) Registry. His research interests are on the Pre-EMS period of cardiac arrest, post-resuscitation care, airway management, and ambulance safety.
