David E. Pitcher MD, FACS

Dr. Pitcher is Executive Physician for the UNM Health System, the Senior Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs, and Professor of Surgery in the Department of Surgery at UNM School of Medicine. He was previously the chief medical officer for UNM Hospitals and has served in healthcare leadership roles in NM for over 20 years. He has been a faculty member with UNM SOM since 1992 and specializes in minimally invasive surgery.
