David Henri Dejour MD, PhD

Dr. David Dejour trained at the Faculty of Medicine of Lyon Sud in 1982. He received the degree of doctor of medicine in 1991. He holds a master's degree in biomechanics and anatomy and a DEA in Mechanical Biological Engineering. He spent 8 months in the USA in 1993 to complete his training in knee surgery and pursue research work on the analysis of the human gait. He is accredited in orthopedic surgery with the HAS.

His field of excellence is knee surgery from sports medicine to degenerative pathology (osteoarthritis). He has published numerous articles on knee pathologies, in particular patellofemoral problems from patella dislocations to the onset of osteoarthritis. (see CV).

Dr. David Dejour is a member of many national (SOFCOT, SFA) and international (ESSKA, ISAKOS, AOSSM) scientific societies and organizes with a Lyonnaise association “ALRM” every two years a congress dedicated to the knee and intended for orthopedic surgeons.
