David Dahl MD

Dr. David E. Dahl, MD, is an anesthesiologist and pain medicine physician who serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) College of Medicine in Knoxville, Tennessee. His clinical practice focuses on pain medicine and the evaluation and management of patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.

Dr. Dahl earned his medical degree from the East Tennessee State University James H. Quillen College of Medicine in 2010. He subsequently completed a transitional-year internship and anesthesiology residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center at Knoxville, followed by subspecialty training in Pain Medicine at the University of Utah School of Medicine.

His areas of clinical expertise include pain medicine, with experience in the management of conditions such as chronic pain, cervical spondylosis, and spinal stenosis. He has practiced in Tennessee and has been affiliated with institutions including the University Health System and Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
