David Cibula MD, PhD, FCMA

Dr. David Cibul graduating from the 1st Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague joined the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of the 1st Medical Faculty of Charles University, where he still works today. He first studied gynecological endocrinology, later focusing on gynecological oncology. Since 2003, he has been the head of the Oncogynecology Center at the General University Hospital in Prague.

He has previously served as President of the European Society of Gynecological Oncology, as well as leading the International Group on Guidelines and Quality Indicators in Cervical Surgery. He is the founder and chairman of the Central and Eastern European Collaborative Group for Clinical Studies in Oncogynecology. He also founded two charities supporting patients with gynecological oncological diseases and research in gynecological oncology. He is the author and co-author of hundreds of articles.
