David C. Lott MD

Dr. David Lott is a board certified and licensed physician who has been treating patients with addiction and other mental health symptoms for the past 12 years. As a specialist in psychiatry and addictions, he focuses on helping patients learn about their conditions and find the most effective treatments. He recognizes that each person is different in how symptoms appear and which treatments work best. Dr. Lott works with patients to find the safest, most effective treatments for you.

In the clinic, Dr. Lott will first conduct a thorough evaluation to determine your diagnosis and start developing a treatment plan. This process starts at the initial evaluation session but may take multiple sessions. Dr. Lott will keep you informed of treatment recommendations, and he will refer you somewhere else if needed for proper care.

In addition to patient care, Dr. Lott is committed to community education as well as teaching and research. He previously served as the Medical Director of Addiction Services at Linden Oaks Hospital at Edward-Elmhurst Healthcare in Naperville, IL from 2005-2017. He is a faculty member at The University of Illinois College of Medicine (Chicago campus) and has taught health care trainees from many different programs.
