David Bass MD, PhD

David Ian Bass was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. He completed his undergraduate training at Cornell University in 2007 with a B.A. in Psychology, concentrating on Biopsychology. He then went to Emory University as part of the Medical Scientist Training Program, where he completed his doctoral dissertation on the amygdala-mediated enhancement of memory for specific events by modulating the hippocampus prior to finishing his medical degree in 2016. He currently is working with Drs. Andrew Ko and Christine Mac Donald analyzing advanced imaging in functional neurosurgery. In his free time, he also enjoys getting outdoors to go hiking or skiing on the local slopes.
