David Avrin MD, PhD

Dr. Avrin, MD, PhD, is a clinical member of the Interventional Radiology and Abdominal Imaging Sections. As Vice-Chair of Informatics, Dr. Avrin oversees the extensive integrated patient-care information systems that enables radiologists to deliver clinical, educational, and research missions. Before completing his medical degree, Dr. Avrin received his PhD in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University, California. Shortly after, Dr. Avrin earned his medical degree in Medicine from Stanford University, and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Stanford University as well, followed by a fellowship in Ultrasound at the University of California, San Francisco.
