David Atallah MD, MSc

Dr. David Atallah is a gynecologic oncologist and breast surgeon in the department of obstetrics and gynecology at Hotel-Dieu de France University Hospital. Moreover, he is also an associate professor at Saint Joseph University in Beirut. Dr. Atallah has served at many hospitals, including St. Joseph University Medical School, Hotel Dieu de France University Hospital, and Salpetriere University Hospital, where he completed coursework and residencies. 

After completing his fellowship at the Institut Gustave Roussy, a comprehensive cancer center in Villejuif, France, Dr. David Atallah has more than 15 years of professional expertise in the disciplines of gynecologic oncology and breast cancer. He received a fellowship from the European Society of Surgical Oncology in 2000. He holds diplomas and fellowships in clinical cancer research, visceral surgery, vaginal surgery, breast cancer, reconstructive surgery, surgical oncology, urodynamics, colposcopy, and cervicovaginal pathology, as well as urogynecology and pelvic floor dysfunction. He is a doctor with a license to practice medicine in the US, Lebanon, and France.

Dr. Atallah has been a spokesperson of the Board of the Lebanese Medical Journal in Beirut since 2007. Also, he is regularly contacted for reviewing articles in the International Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics, the Annals of Surgical Oncology, and Trials. He has nearly 20 years of professional excellence in his field. He worked as an anatomy instructor at the Lebanese University School of Physiotherapy and the Salpetriere University School of Nursing earlier in his career. In addition, he has served as vice president of the Lebanese Gynecologic Oncologic Group since 2014. MEMAGO and PARSGO have his presence as a founder member and he serves on their boards.
