David Askenazi MD, MPH

Dr. Askenazi is a pediatric nephrologist in Birmingham, Alabama, and in that capacity is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Children's Hospital of Alabama at UAB and the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch and has been in practice for 11-20 years..Dr. Askenazi’s clinical, educational and research interests focus on the epidemiology, diagnosis, and renal support therapy of neonates and children at risk for acute kidney injury.
