David A. Wylie MSc, FFPM, RCPS

David is Associate NMAHP Director at NHS Education for Scotland. Prior to that, he was Head of Podiatry in NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde for 8 years. He has completed two post-graduate healthcare degrees and became a Fellow of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine in 2013. He is also the Director of Professional and non-clinical education within the College.

David’s research involves culture and leadership. He has published in these areas and delivered consultancy and presentations at national and international meetings. He is passionate about workforce and service redesign and was a Leadership finalist in NHS Scotland’s 2016 Scottish Health Awards.
