David Arthur Woodrum MD, PhD

David Woodrum is working as an Assistant Professor at Mayo Clinic. David Woodrum is Interventional Radiology with an emphasis on Oncology treatment and MR interventions. His background includes a Ph.D. in Cellular Biology and M.D. in Interventional Radiology. His clinical residency and fellowship were performed at Mayo Clinic Rochester with several additional months spent at Northwestern University and Johns Hopkins for more training in interventional MR techniques. David Woodrum's Ph.D. research centered on the role of small heat shock proteins in vascular smooth muscle relaxation clinical research was initially centered on the translation of pre-clinical tools into clinical application.
