David A. Fuller, MD, is the Director of Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at the Cooper Bone and Joint Institute. He is an Assistant Professor at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, Director of the Cooper Orthopaedic Residency Program and Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He is board certified in orthopaedic and hand surgery.

Dr. Fuller graduated from Dartmouth College in 1987 and received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1991. His residency training was completed in 1997 at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He spent one year during his residency as an Allen Research Fellow and completed an additional fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery at Thomas Jefferson University. He then completed further fellowship training in neuro-orthopaedics while working at Moss Rehabilitation Hospital at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia.

Since completing his training, Dr. Fuller has worked, written and lectured extensively as an expert in orthopaedic surgery, hand surgery and rehabilitation surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Orthopaedic Trauma Association and Phi Beta Kappa. He is a past president of the Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Association. He has volunteered for national and international relief organizations. Dr. Fuller leads group visits (shared medical appointments) for certain conditions in the Cooper Advanced Care Center in Camden, NJ.
