Dave L. Dixon PharmD, FACC, FCCP, FNLA, BCACP, BCPS, CDE, CLS

Dave Dixon, PharmD, BCPS, BCACP, CDE, CLS, FCCP, FNLA, FACC is an Associate Professor and Vice-Chair for Clinical Services at VCU School of Pharmacy. He also serves as Director of the VCU School of Pharmacy Center for Pharmacy Practice Innovation. Dr. Dixon obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy from Campbell University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and completed a PGY-1 residency in Primary Care at the Charles George VA Medical Center.

HIs research and practice interests include lipid disorders, hypertension, cardiometabolic disease, and the effectiveness of pharmacy-physician collaborative care models to improve the management of chronic disease. Dr. Dixon is a Fellow of ACCP, the National LIpid Association, and the American College of Cardiology. He is a Regional Representative of the National Lipid Association, serves as Treasurer on the Accreditation Council for Clinical Lipidology Board of Governors, and serves on the Editorial Board for the Journal of Clinical Lipidology
