Darius M. MoshfeghiBS, MD
Dr. Darius M. Moshfeghi is Professor and Director of the Retina Division. He also is the Director of the Vitreoretinal Surgery Fellowship Program, Founder and Director of SUNDROP Telemedicine initiative, and Director of Pediatric Vitreoretinal Diseases and Surgery. He received vitreoretinal surgery training at the Cole Eye Institute, Cleveland Clinic and previously ocular oncology training. He has been continuously BOARD CERTIFIED since 2000. He is a recognized expert in pediatric retina telemedicine.
The diversity of his practice reflects his numerous interests, yet they all coalesce along retino-vascular diseases and their management. He has trained dozens of medical students, residents, and vitreoretinal surgeons and serves on the Surgical Standards Committee for Vitreoretinal Surgery Fellowship of the American Society of Retinal Specialsists. His research interests span medical device development, diagnostics, and public health deployment of technology to improve access to quaternary care.
