Daren Ure PhD

Dr. Daren Ure Ph.D. is Chief Scientific Officer at Hepion Pharmaceuticals (formerly ContraVir Pharmaceuticals). Before joining ContraVir, Daren was also Director of Research and Development at Ciclofilin Pharmaceuticals and Senior Research Scientist at Isotechnika Pharma from 2003 to 2014. Daren completed his Ph.D. in Neurobiology at the University of Alberta and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Mayo Clinic from 1997 to 2002 where his research was in immunology, virology, and neurobiology on animal models of multiple sclerosis.
