Daren Heyland MD

Dr Daren Heyland is a Professor of Medicine at Queen's University and the DIrector or the Clinical Evaluation Research Unit (www.ceru.ca), Critical Care Nutrition (www.criticalcarenutrition.com) and The Canadian Researchers at the End of Life Network (www.thecarenet.ca). He is trained in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Clinical Epidemiology. Overall, Dr. Heyland has published approximately 280 peer-reviewed papers, raised more than $91 million in external grant support including more than $43 million from CIHR, and given over 300 international presentations
