Daniyal Hussain MPH, MBA

Daniyal Hussain is a biotech, pharma, and healthcare strategist and business development executive. He currently works as Executive Director at GSK. Before Valo, Daniyal was Associate Director at AstraZeneca where he helped develop their immuno-oncology portfolio. Before that, he was a life sciences consultant at Huron where he focused on commercial strategy, company/product valuations, business development, M&A, lifecycle planning, and regulatory issues across a wide array of clients, including large pharmaceutical companies, small biotechs, investors, and nonprofit organizations.

Daniyal is comfortable with a variety of analysis methodologies including multi-attribute decision models, DCFs, probability-based models, product concept/profile testing, prioritization analysis, and optimal pricing determination. Daniyal has an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Master’s of Public Health from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and Economics, from the University of Pennsylvania.
