Danielle Posthuma PhD

Prof. dr. Danielle Posthuma is statistical geneticist at the Vrije Universiteit (VU) Amsterdam and VU University Medical Center Amsterdam (VU), Neuroscience Campus Amsterdam. She studied clinical and biological psychology and medical anthropology, and graduated cum laude in 2002 at the VU University Amsterdam. After obtaining an NWO VIDI grant in 2005 she conducted research on the interplay between genes and behavior in the context of cognitive functioning. In the same year she became a member of the Young Academy of the Royal Dutch Academy of Sciences.
