Danielle E. Aldrich-Chellappoo joined the HOAF team in 2011, and in addition to seeing patients, she also oversees and manages the infusion center at the practice. Danielle understands the importance of not only treating the disease but also caring for the patient to strike the ideal balance.

Danielle holds several certifications, including ANP, NP-C, Virginia; RN, Virginia; Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP); and Legal Nurse Consultant (LNC). She received her BSN from George Mason University and her MSN, with an ANP concentration, from the University of Delaware. As a member of several highly-regarded organizations, including Oncology Nurses Society (ONS), Virginia council of Nurse Practitioners (VCNP), American Society of Clinical Oncologists (ASCO), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and more, she stays active in the medical community.

Danielle is the proud recipient of the following honors and awards: Bessie B. Collins Award; Jeanne Buxbaum Scholar, Gerontology Fellowship; Spirit of Nursing Award, Army Nurse Corps; and Community Health Award, George Mason University.

Danielle grew up in Brazil and has a special interest in Brazilian culture, especially music. Danielle has traveled extensively and speaks fluent Portuguese and French. She spends her personal time with her husband and three dogs. She enjoys reading, traveling, gardening, music, and discovering Virginia’s vineyards and landscape.
