Daniele Fazio

Daniele Fazio is Vice President, Design & Engineering at Flex, where he leads the European Design Centers focused on design, development, and industrialization of medical and healthcare devices within Flex Health Solutions.

In 2007, Mr. Fazio joined Flex as Hardware Development Manager in the early days of the Flex Milan Design Center, contributing to its growth and capabilities expansion. In 2011, Mr. Fazio was promoted to Director of Design in Flex Milan, managing quality and process improvements of broad functional areas from concept to mass production. A year later, Mr. Fazio was leading the facility as General Manager and Sr. Director, while tasked with growing a new design center in Timisoara, Romania. In four years, several design capabilities were added, including human factors, industrial design, usability engineering, NPI, tooling and molding, and quality assurance. These Sketch-to-Scale solutions helped elevate Milan to a world-class design center for the development of drug delivery devices.

Before joining Flex, he worked for Instrumentation Laboratory, Alstom Transport and ST-Microelectronics operating in strongly standardized markets (medical equipment, automotive, transportation) covering different roles in design, project management, and team leadership. Mr. Fazio holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy.
