Daniele De LucaMD
Daniele De Luca received his MD degree from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome, Italy. Dr. De Luca earned Master's degrees at the same university in Paediatric Emergencies and Neonatal Pulmonology. He finally received a Board Fellowship in Paediatrics and Neonatal Critical Care and a PhD in Clinical Molecular Biology from the same university. He also holds a Master's degree in Medical Management and Administration, earned at the Ecole de Management pour Medecins Hospitaliers/Ecole des Mines (Paris, France). He received several research awards in Italy and from European scientific bodies.
Since 2013, Dr. De Luca is the Medical Director of the Division of Pediatrics, Transportation and Neonatal Critical Care at South Paris University, “A.Beclere” Medical Centre, and Associate Professor of Neonatology at South Paris-Saclay University Paris, France. He is also an invited professor of Neonatal and Paediatric Critical Care at the Institute of Anesthesiology and Critical Care, the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome, Italy. He has been Visiting Professor at the Los Angeles Children Hospital (CA, USA), Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain), Universidad de Salamanca (Spain) and BEHNA Children Hospital (Cairo, Egypt).
He has been a referee for international grants and research quality programs for public institutions in the EU, Canada, France, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, and South Africa. He also served as a referee for similar programs within the main European scientific societies in the field of critical care and pediatrics. He is the Secretary of the European Society for Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care (ESPNIC), and Council Member of the European Society for Pediatric Research (ESPR). Dr. De Luca is also a Member of the Organizing Committee of the Journées Nationales de Neonatology (Paris, France).
