Daniela Virginia Vaz MD, PhD

Daniela Virgínia Vaz holds a degree in Physiotherapy from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2003), and a master's degree in Rehabilitation Sciences from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2004), and a Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut (2013). She dedicated himself to the study of dynamic and ecological approaches to perception and action. She is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Physiotherapy and advisor for the Masters and Doctoral Program in the Postgraduate Program in Rehabilitation Sciences at UFMG. She develops teaching and research related to motor control and learning, functionality, and disability, from ecological and biopsychosocial perspectives.
