Daniel Zimpfer MD, MBA

Daniel Zimpfer studied medicine in Vienna and completed specialist training in cardiac and vascular surgery at MedUni Vienna. He holds an MBA in Health Care Management (WU Vienna) and completed the Surgical Leadership Program at Harvard Medical School. In 2012 he became the medical director of the mechanical circulatory support program and since 2014 he has been the head of surgery for congenital heart disease. Zimpfer is a member of numerous national and international specialist societies, guideline committees, and reviewers in several top specialist journals in the field of cardiovascular surgery.
