Daniel R. Salomon, M.D., is co-director of the Scripps Center for Organ & Cell Transplantation and medical director of the Scripps Kidney & Pancreas Transplant Program. He is an associate professor, Department of Molecular & Experimental Medicine, at The Scripps Research Institute, and transplant nephrologist at Scripps Clinic. Dr. Salomon provides post-kidney, pancreas and liver transplant follow-up care to patients at the Scripps Center for Organ and Cell Transplantation.

Dr. Salomon received his medical degree at Stritch-Loyola School of Medicine, Maywood, Illinois, and postdoctoral degree at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, UCLA, Los Angeles, Calif., in internal medicine. He is board certified in internal medicine. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and a fellowship in nephrology and Organ Transplantation at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School.
